The Artist's Way: A Spiritual Path To Higher Creativity was written by Julia Cameron to help with artistic creative recovery, which teaches techniques and exercises to assist people in gaining self-confidence in harnessing their creative talents and skills

WHEN: January 10th through April 3rd

IN-PERSON MEET-UPS: Thursday, Feb 3rd, March 3rd, and March 31st 

LOCATION: Alchemy Kitchen @6:00p - 7:30p

COST: Free (just need the book!)

PACE: self-guided with virtual weekly check-ins and monthly (optional) in-person gatherings 

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT:- 

  • Weekly opportunities to engage online via forum (Discord). The expectation will be that once a week we check in and update the group on how things are going. Nicole will moderate this space to cultivate connection, conversation, and reflection.

  • Optional monthly meetups during weeks 4, 8, and 12 - located at Alchemy Kitchen (1439 Grandview Ave, Columbus, OH 43212)

  • The author Julia Cameron uses the concept of god/God throughout the book, however, you do not need to believe in God to work through this book.

PREPARATION:

  • If you would like to order your book locally, arrangements can be made through me. Just let me know!

  • You will need a journal to write and reflect on throughout this 12-week process. 

  • There will be weekly opportunities for discussion via the online forum, Discord. There will be once a week check-in and reflection opportunity.

  • We will host optional monthly meetups at Alchemy Kitchen (1439 Grandview Ave) in Columbus (weeks 4, 8, and 12).
